"For the last seven years, the Saratoga Harp Colony has been not only the highlight of my summer, but a powerful, positive force in my development as a musician and performer. The unique opportunity to truly focus on practicing and performance in such a beautiful setting is unlike any other experience. Inspiration is abundant, as participants take in Philadelphia Orchestra concerts and learn from the amazing faculty members, guest adjudicators, and each other! Masterclasses, mock auditions, and ensemble performances create a truly collaborative, synergistic atmosphere for learning. I always leave Saratoga Springs with a sense of elation from the wonderful music I've heard and played, excited to apply new ideas and skills to my own practice and performances."
